Building on the success of our specialist training brands across Science, Pharmacy and Dental, Skills4Housing has been created to help housing providers, employers, and professionals prepare for the new Competence and Conduct Standard for social housing providers.

This legislation introduces mandatory training and qualification requirements for housing professionals across the UK.

These changes represent one of the most significant shifts the housing sector has seen in recent years, with organisations expected to demonstrate that staff possess the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to deliver high-quality housing services.

The new standard will also require many senior housing professionals to hold, or be working towards, recognised housing management qualifications.

How Skills4Housing Helps Support the Competence and Conduct Standard for Social Housing

At Skills4Group we’ve built a brilliant reputation delivering high-quality training in some of the most complex and compliance-driven sectors, and housing is no different. Our focus is simple: deliver practical, flexible and employer-led training that equips housing professionals with the confidence, compliance knowledge and leadership skills needed to progress through the qualifications set by the new housing legislation.

Like all Skills4 divisions, Skills4Housing places learners and employers at the centre of everything we do. We understand the pressures facing housing professionals and the importance of training that prioritises quality over high-volume delivery.

The housing sector plays a vital role in communities across the UK, and as regulations update, so too does the need for high-quality training partners who understand the realities of the sector and can support professional learning.

Skills4Housing offers Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications designed specifically for housing professionals - from team leaders and supervisors right through to senior managers and heads of service.
